Did not respond to my needs in timely manner.
I am in the same boat as Picpos. I was working with Platinum Law Group since September of 2010.
I would email Paul Hernandez and would always get a response of "I will have an update for you tomorrow" or "I will call you tomorrow."
I received one call from a debt collector, so I emailed Mr. Hernandez. His response, "I will call you tomorrow our processing team has left for the day." Another call from the debt collector, this time to my mothers house. I am totally peeved by now.
Several calls and emails later, still no answer.
What do I do? Found out from the debt collector that I am no longer a client of Platinum Law Grp.

Basically, they do nothing
They get money in advance with absolutely nothing done at all.
I started working with Platinum Law Group in March 2010, I did sign the documents and paid them in advance for their services with a contract that has absolutely no losses for the Law firm that is owned by Jerry Stevenson". I paid more than 4500 $, for Credit cards settlement and Home loan modification. In a very critical bad financing time. They just Use our need to solve the problem and just get the our money. When I first started inquiring with them,Mitchell Marshall , the representative would call me almost daily to find out if I was ready to move ahead,.
I have no faith for Platinum Law Group , as I talk to different person who suppose to be the head of the department, But All the same. Never respond back then after.
Nothing Happened at all, neither loan modification or Credit cards.
Now I am going Bankruptcy.

THIS SEEMS TO BE PLATINUM LAW GROUP'S M.O. HAS ANYONE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE BAR OR ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR TAKING FEES IN ADVANCE FOR LOAN MODS.
THESE GUYS TOOK MONEY IN MARCH, DIDN'T SUBMIT PACKAGE UNTIL MAY, FOUND OUT THE BANK NOW WANTED TAX RETURNS AND ALL DOCS WERE TOO OLD THAT PLG SUBMITTED. FOUND OUT WHAT THE BANK NEEDED AFTER GETTING HELP FROM SOMEONE ELSE WHO RESUBMITTED A COMPLETE PACKAGE THE DAY BEFORE THE BANK WAS GOING TO DECLINE MOD DUE TO MISSING INFO THAT PLATINUM NEVER ASKED ME FOR.
I RECEIVED TRIAL PERIOD APPROVAL 11 DAYS AFTER BANK CONFIRMED RECEIPT OF NEW PACKAGE.
GET THIS, PLATINUM LAW GROUP IS TAKING CREDIT FOR THE APPROVAL AND WANTS $250 MORE.
STAY AWAY from Platinum Law Group unless you want to be ignored after they have robbed your money by illegally breaking the laws set forth in 2009 in which NO LAWYER may accept ANY money for loan modification services until the modification services have been completed. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR GREAT SALES TEAM!!!
They will tell you everything you want to hear, withdraw money from your account and then they will not talk to you EVER AGAIN!!! BE AWARE - DON'T GET ROBBED BY PLATINUM LAW GROUP!!
Platinum Law Group steal money from the vulnerable who are hoping that PLG will fulfill their promise to save your home and get you a modification. They will not return your phone call or emails and they will not save your home.
They are wolves in sheep's clothing and they have ZERO INTEGRITY! :(
Scam alert. They took our money and promised the world and haven done a thing.
They made our stress worse and took money we didnt have upfront without doing anything but promises they didn't keep
Every one gets what they put out, and they are no exception. Their day is comming.
Stay away from the platinum law group at any cost! :(
I don't believe that one has to be "weak and ignorant" to be taken by a company such as Platinum. Communication or lack of has alot to do with a deal going bad.
It is usually best to deal directly with the debt collector rather than waste your money on some shyster lawyer. These guys prey on the weak and ignorant.
